     Edward Dorsey Stockton was born on 30 May 1828 in Flemingsburg, Fleming, Kentucky, USA. He married Mary Jane Cozzens, daughter of William Brown Cozzens and Jane Davidson, on 8 October 1856 at Cozzens’ Hotel, West Point by Reverend Henry E. Duncan of the Church of the Holy Innocents, Highland Falls, New York. Edward Dorsey Stockton died 13 March 1857 enroute to San Antonio, Texas, USA.
     Edward Dorsey Stockton was also known as Edward d'Orsay, but most records show Dorsey. He graduated from the United States Military Academy on 1 July 1849 as the 1418^th graduate. He was promoted to Brevet Lieutenant, 7^th Infantry, 1 July 1849, to Second Lieutenant, 1^st Infantry, 31 Aug 1849. He fought in the Seminole Indian wars in Florida 1849 – 1850 and was promoted to First Lieutenant, 2 Mar 1853. He was assigned to the Military Academy as an Assistant Professor of the Department of Natural and Experimental Philosophy (also known as Physics) from 1852 to 1856.¹ He died because of bronchitis while enroute to San Antonio, Texas during a period of war with the Comanche.

     Helen Susan Hills was born on 7 April 1832 in Rochester, Monroe, New York, USA. She married Edward Ross Cozzens, son of William Brown Cozzens and Jane Davidson, in 1863. Helen Susan Hills died in 1924 in New York, New York, New York, USA.

     Amelia Hills Cozzens was born in 1864. She died in 1946.

     Julia Mumford Cozzens was born in 1865. She died in 1920.
     She also went by the name of Doey.

     William Pitt Beatty was born on 14 February 1846.¹ He died on 13 March 1923 in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania, USA, at age 77.³ He was buried at Ashland Cemetery in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania, USA.³
     In 1860 he was a student presumably living in Carlisle, Cumberland County, Pennsylvania. At adulthood, he stood 5' 8" tall with light hair and blue eyes and functioned as a bookkeeper. He apparently never married. There is some question whether his middle name was "Pitt" or "Piper."

A Civil War veteran, he first served as a private with the 1st Pennsylvania Emergency Militia September 13 - 24, 1862, during the Antietam crisis, overstating his enlistment age by two years. He also enlisted with the regular army in Chambersburg May 23, 1864, and assigned as a private with the U.S. Signal Corps. He honorably discharged by general order July 24, 1865, his "services no longer required."³

     Alexander Piper Beatty was born on 12 January 1848 in Cumberland, Pennsylvania, USA.¹ He married Sarah Jane Rouzer, daughter of Henry Rouzer and Catharine Schlosser. Alexander Piper Beatty died on 19 April 1916 in Washington, District of Columbia, USA, at age 68.² He was buried at Wellers Cemetery in Thurmont, Frederick, Maryland, USA.²
     He was a printer. He started as an apprentice with the Carlisle American and the Carlisle Herald. He had multiple appointments to the Government Printing Office in Washington D. C. He owned the Maryland Journal.
He was heavily involved in the temperance movement as part of the Pioneer Council of Jonadahs and active in mission work in Washington, D. C.

     Annie Elder Beatty was born on 14 August 1849.¹ She died on 8 July 1852 at age 2.¹ She was buried at Ashland Cemetery in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania, USA.²

     Fannie Beatty was born on 13 October 1852. She died in infancy.¹ She was buried at Ashland Cemetery in Carlisle, Cumberland, Pennsylvania, USA.²

Elijah Green Ricketts died on 22 December 1877 in Orangeville, Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA, at age 74.¹ He was buried at Laurel Hill Cemetery in Orangeville, Columbia, Pennsylvania, USA.¹

     Helena Knipp was born on 9 January 1876. She married Thomas S Hoy on 30 June 1897 in Milam, Texas, USA. Helena Knipp died on 8 March 1969 in San Antonio, Bexar, Texas, USA, at age 93.²

     Charles Henry Knipp was born on 24 January 1878 in Round Rock, Williamson, Texas, USA.¹ He married Maidie Moody in 1906.² Charles Henry Knipp died on 24 June 1927 in Cameron, Milam, Texas, USA, at age 49.¹ He was buried at Oak Hill Cemetery in Cameron, Milam, Texas, USA.¹
     He was a carpenter and mechanic.^3,2

     Otto Powell Knipp was born on 25 November 1879 in Round Rock, Williamson, Texas, USA.¹ He married Evangeline Esther (Eva) Schrap, daughter of C. F. (Christian) Schrap and Helen C Schuster, on 21 July 1917 in Dodge Center, Minnesota, USA.¹ Otto Powell Knipp died on 4 July 1965 in Raymondville, Willacy, Texas, USA, at age 85.² He was buried at Raymondville Memorial Cemetery in Raymondville, Willacy, Texas, USA.²
     He was a lumberman and owner of Raymondville Lumber and Hardware. He was also a carpenter, building many homes in the Corpus Christie area.³
